InfraX Signs Strategic MoUs with Ericsson, Huawei, and Hikvision to Accelerate UAE’s Smart Utilities Transformation

Dubai, United Arab Emirates, October 26, 2025: InfraX, the digital arm of Digital DEWA, the digital subsidiary of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (PJSC), has signed a series of landmark Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with Ericsson, Huawei, and Hikvision. These agreements mark a major step forward in advancing the UAE’s smart infrastructure and digital transformation within the utilities sector through cutting-edge technologies in connectivity, automation, and artificial intelligence.

InfraX and Ericsson: Driving Smart Utility Innovation

InfraX and Ericsson signed an MoU to accelerate digital transformation across the UAE’s utilities sector. The collaboration focuses on developing innovative Internet of Things (IoT) and automation-based use cases designed to improve the efficiency of smart facilities. The two companies will exchange technical expertise and deploy scalable digital solutions that enhance operational performance while paving the way for future innovation.

InfraX also signed an MoU with Huawei to accelerate the modernization of Dubai’s utility networks and enhance energy distribution efficiency in alignment with the UAE’s sustainable digital growth goals. The partnership will explore the development of high-reliability communications networks for critical utility operations.

Leveraging Huawei’s global expertise in 5G, AI, and intelligent networking, InfraX aims to enhance operational efficiency and align with Dubai’s Clean Energy Strategy 2050.
