Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 14 October 2025 – Agon Hospitality, the F&B and lifestyle investment arm of Agon Capital, is marking its fifth anniversary this October, a milestone that underscores its evolution from boutique startup to one of the UAE’s fastest-growing lifestyle investment groups. Since its founding in 2019, the group has built a diversified portfolio of award-winning hospitality concepts including Coterie, BCH:CLB, and GITANO Dubai, with more launches in the pipeline across the GCC.
What began as an ambitious offshoot of Agon Capital’s investment model has now matured into a distinct business vertical, generating over AED 100 million in annual revenue, and contributing over 20% to the parent group’s overall portfolio. Over the past five years, Agon Hospitality has established itself as a pioneer in experience-led ventures, focusing on venues that blend lifestyle, entertainment, and community with commercial viability.
Despite a highly saturated F&B market in the region, Agon Hospitality has consistently outperformed expectations by leveraging strategic capital, robust programming, and culturally attuned concepts. Its flagship venue Coterie has seen consistent year-on-year growth of 10%, even during off-peak periods without major global sporting events. Meanwhile, BCH:CLB experienced a sharp 30% growth in revenue over the past year, thanks to increased daytime footfall and the addition of high-energy DJ-led programming, though this also raised breakeven thresholds, reflecting the high-stakes nature of modern hospitality.
The group’s venues have also become cultural landmarks in their own right, playing host to international DJs, creative collaborations, and branded experiences that speak to the UAE’s evolving appetite for premium yet accessible lifestyle destinations.
“We’re incredibly proud of what the team has built in just five years,” said Ryan Hattingh, Group CEO of Agon Capital. “Hospitality isn’t just about dining or décor anymore, it’s about identity, relevance, and return. Every concept we back is designed to deliver on all three. We believe the next wave of investment success in the region will be defined not by square footage, but by how well a space connects emotionally, culturally, and economically. That’s the ethos we’ve championed from day one.”
Looking ahead, Agon Hospitality & Hotels aims to significantly scale its influence within Agon Capital’s overall portfolio, with a target to reach 50% by 2028. This projected growth reflects the group’s deepening focus on hospitality and experiential assets, backed by strong financial performance and regional demand.
Agon Hospitality’s five-year journey reflects a broader shift in the UAE investment landscape, one where hospitality and lifestyle assets are no longer fringe investments, but critical engines of cultural and economic value. And if the last five years are any indication, the group has only just begun.
